“European Investors in Production Projects in Russia”

Participation is free, simultaneous interpretation Russian-English to be provided.

The purpose of the conference is to develop recommendations for the authorities and entrepreneurs aimed at improving investment conditions and fostering production projects of European businesses in Russia. European and Russian businessmen, representatives of academic and business support institutions, Russian and EU authorities are invited to express their viewpoints.

Participants are invited to discuss the following questions:

- How did the sanctions and counter-sanctions affect the inflow of direct investment from the EU countries into the Russian economy after 2014?

- How have the investment strategies of European companies in Russia changed?

- How effective were strategies to localize European businesses in Russia?

- How can the potential of border areas be used for the development of investment cooperation between Russia and the EU countries?

- What is the role of small and medium businesses in the development of investment cooperation between Russia and the EU?
